Bye, bye to the bus!

The moment many have been waiting for is finally here - on Tuesday 3 September the bus will be leaving The Duke!

Its next stop is going to be with local charity The Bus Shelter Ipswich. We are donating it to this great cause for them to convert into accommodation to help those who need a safe space for the night.

We can't give an exact time for you to come and wave it off as local transport recovery firm Hammonds have offered to do this for free, so they will be fitting it in around their other work on the day. However, we are planning a little celebratory party in the pub in the evening, with the brilliant local band Admiral Radish joining us to provide a few tunes.

We will take some footage of the removal and play it on the TV in the pub for you all to see!

So come on down and marvel at the extra space in the car park whilst enjoying a few beers and a bit of a bye, bye bus boogie!
