For just £1 a ticket, you can play along with a fun and simple game that could land you a whopping £250—just by finding the joker! But that’s not all. By joining in the fun, you're also supporting local talent and helping to keep live music alive in our community.
How Does Chase The Joker Work?
It’s simple! Every time we host a live band at The Duke, we also play Chase The Joker. For just £1, you buy a ticket, and then it's time for the excitement to build. There’s a deck of cards, and one of those cards is the joker. Before the end of the night, we’ll draw a ticket and that person has the opportunity to choose a card. If it’s the joker, they’ll walk away with £250! If not, that card gets removed from the game and the prize money rolls over to next time we play. It's all about luck, but the best part is, you’re helping local bands get paid for their amazing performances while enjoying some fantastic music.

Two chances to play this weekend!
We have two great live bands this weekend – Back Porch on Friday night (7 Feb) and Uncool Sam on Saturday (8 Feb) evening. Both start around 8:30/9pm and we’ll be serving our smokehouse, burger and pizza menu from 6pm. Chase The Joker tickets will be available from 6pm and we’ll do the draw around 10pm. So come on down, you have to be in it to win it!
