Alongside our fantastic stone-baked pizzas, we will soon be offering home-smoked meat and delicious burgers, including our unique smokehouse roasts on Sundays! Roy smokes all our own locally sourced cuts of meat in Big Ed, our wood-fired smoker from the USA. More details to come, but never fear, our pizzas are always here if you need a feed! Combine this with our fantastic range of ales, lagers, craft beers and ciders and you have the recipe for a great time!
Ales
We are proud at The Duke to be known locally for serving great real ales, With a selection of at least six on at any one time, we're confident we can appeal to your ale tastes, whatever they may be!
Draught lagers and craft beers
We have 8 lagers and draught craft beers on, with regulars like Level Head and Flint Eye, Carlsberg and Stella, plus a rotation of great guest beers. An we of course have the classic that is Guinness.
Stone baked pizzas
Our stone baked pizzas are freshly prepared and cooked to order. we serve them between 5pm and 9pm, Wednesday to Friday and 2pm to 8pm on Saturdays. We also serve them when we open for our Sunday Jazz sessions on the first Sunday of the month.
COMING SOON - Smokehouse & grill
We are busy working behind the scenes to bring you our own twist on a classic smokehouse and grill menu. Big Ed, our wood-fired smoker imported from the US will be fired up to produce a range of brilliant smoked offerings, including juicy ribs, succulent pork belly, smoked chicken and the most tender brisket you have ever tried! We will also be offering proper burgers and a selection of veggie options. Not to mention an awesome smokehouse roast on Sundays!
